As a rule pool lights are not very hard to install. Most of the time they are pretty self explanatory. But if you buy a poorly made one those can be difficult to install. Fortunately, none of the ones I reviewed here fall into that category and are relatively easy to install. However, not all lights are suitable with all fixtures. Fortunately I highlighted most of these issues. Before purchasing a light it is something to really watch out for.
To illuminate an area so that people can see better is the 1 job lights have to do. How strong the brightness is matters as it tells you how much of an area it will light up. Most of the lights I reviewed are sufficiently bright. I don’t myself believe there is such a thing as a light that is too bright, you don’t always need the brightest one to get the job done tho. For most people all of the lights will be sufficiently bright.
Features of a LED Pool Light:
You might not know it , but LED swimming pool lights can have different features. Having different LED color lights is the most common. Having different colors is not for everyone, but if you have young kids you will definitely want to consider buying a LED pool light capable of having different colors. It adds another dimension which kids really enjoy plus it makes night swimming really fun to do.
Dimming is another feature that some people enjoy. You won’t find it available in all lights. Being able to directly control the brightness is a great feature to have. You’ll be able to set the mood and have the option to change the environment, especially using a remote control.
Running pool lights cost money. So in that case you want to make sure that the light you buy is able to effectively convert power to light. It does not break the bank to buy an inefficient LED pool light. But it doesn’t hurt to do the research to save a few bucks a month either. If it matters to you there are environmental benefits as well. Just like with most things that use power, lights will turn some of that energy into heat. Some light bulbs heat up a lot so they end up being less efficient than light bulbs that convert more of the same energy into light.
I don’t believe anyone likes to buy anything that dies after using it the first time of using it or shortly after. LED Pool Lights are no exception. Make sure that the lights you decide to buy will last long enough to reliably light your pool.
Your swimming pool is a critical part of your home and you should fit it with the best LED pool lights. When it comes to choosing the best pool lights, LED is your best option. But, choosing the style you want comes down to personal opinion – do you want color options? Or do you just want to light your pool. I hope that by reading this Best LED Pool Lights Review you’re already in a much better buying position than most.
